One year to get fit

Help please! I have been on here everyday this week and tried to log my walking workouts with zero success. When I go back and look at my activity log, it says I have not recorded any activity. I've followed the instructions to find the type of exercise I've done but then I'm suppose to record the reps, weight etc...and this field never pops up. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I would really like to start charting my progress so I can see how far I've come over the past week, month etc... thanks
