Day 3

Day three, SUCCESS! I was only slightly over my calories, and I did my workout. I am still managing to track everything. I find that for me tracking is key...and yet not my strong suit. My calories in did not go over my BMR+Activities, though it wasn't a huge difference, it was still a difference. .

The most encouraging thing is that I am already seeing the benefits. No, I haven't dropped a dress size, but I am sleeping better. I have more energy. It is easier to get up in the morning. I am having some additional pain, but not to extremes. I will be interested in how my muscles fair tomorrow. I have to be very cautious, but I am always forgetting that and overdoing it. I had my strength training today, and I increased my weights. OK, it's not like I went off the charts...from two to five pound dumbells was my increase, but in my situation it could easily be too much. But tomorrow will tell the truth of it.

Another thing I am finding encouragement from is friends and family. My weight has become a real issue for me, and it isn't as if I am 5 or 10 pounds overweight, I am more than 70 pounds over weight. That weight does not help any of my health issues and of course creates health issues of its own. So everyone is really positive. At least so far they are. And I am trying to keep them positive by being super positive myself, that way I get the benefit of their encouragement. Like a vicious circle, that isn't vicious.

Well, here's hoping I am up for day 4...
