I am on my second cycle of 3 days. The first cycle I lost 6 pounds in 3 days.
I am starting this cycle with my monthly friend witch is causing me to retain water and not giving me accurate weight. I am starting day 2 with a 1 pound weight loss. I did this diet when I was young when it first came out. My mom got this diet from a family friend who was given it to have rapid weight loss due to heart problems. I was 16 the first time and lost 80 pounds in about 4 months and kept it off for years. This diet is very hard and you must not cheat and that is no easy task for me. The last time I did this diet it was a 7 day a week program. I can't do that anymore. I go on the diet for 3 days and have one cheat day with a reasonable food.. last time I went to subway for a blt.  Then its back on the diet again. I also drink plenty of water/crystal light and some soda. I try to include some moderate exersise as well. I am trying this blog for anyone interested in this diet or was curious if it really works. I want to correct some mistakes "no carots" its always been beets and on the original it was 1 vegtable at a meal and that was only green beans or beets. I have used asparagus and it is almost equal to green beens.

The foods I use in my diet...
Jenny o turkey hot dogs, low fat cottage cheese, provalone cheese, plain chicken or turkey cold meat, honey wheat bread, regular crackers.
I always boil my eggs and hotdogs.
