A Lifestyle Change

I just recently joined this site after coming to the realization that at the low age of 22 I'm at the heaviest weight I've been my whole life and I've been eating terribly unhealthy and decided I'd make a lifestyle change. I'm not on a diet, I'm on a new life track. I ate alot of fast food when I was a kid/teenager and now I'm really wishing I didn't, it's easy to see how the calories add up and now I'm learning how making the same items at home cut many unnecessary calories. Now I work in a coffee shop/restaurant on an outdoor mall filled with all kinds of restaurants so the temptations to eat whatever I feel like are everywhere. So step one I did some research into what would be a fitting lunch box for me, I finally decided on a nice 2 tiered bento box from Japan. So I decided I'd start this blog tracking my bento lunches and calories contained in these lunches as well as my weight loss. Also I get to express my creativity with these lunches seeing as traditionally in Japanese bento you want your food to look pretty and fun.

Day 1 of my Bento Adventure (I was running extremely low on groceries)

Homemade chicken tenders

Homemade Waffle potato chips

Baby Carrots

with honey and BBQ for dipping

So for some reason regardless of how small I make my photos it's messes up my blog so here's the link
