63 Days To Go

I've been reading alot of other people's blogs in the mornings.  Go everybody go!

I am concerned that some people aren't eating enough.  Everything that I've read indicates that women should never be eating less than 1000 calories per day because it switches metabolism into "starvation mode" and actually prevents weight loss.  So - EAT MORE! (Unless you are already eating enough!)

So my happy things for the day:
1. I am LOVING having my husband at home.  Fresh foods abound in our home all of the sudden!  yay!
2. I really enjoyed swimming yesterday.  The triathlon has a 1/4 mile swim which I thought was going to be a huge horrible task, and I can do it in like 18 min!  That was on day 1!  So I'm MUCH less intimidated about that.   Above and beyond that, I don't hurt ANYWHERE today.  No knee pain, no hip pain, no pain anywhere.  So I figured I must not have burned that many calories since I wasn't in screaming pain or covered in sweat - NOPE - totally one of the highest calorie burning exercises that I do.  AWESOME!  More swimming for me!
3. My trainer has been so super supportive and I am so thankful for that.
4. I sleep GREAT these days.  It's AWESOME!
5.  Oddly enough, I like my stretch marks.  They give me a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction that I am making progress.
6.  People around me are starting to look at me as the girl that works out.  Woo hoo!  Not, "when is that girl going to work out?"
7. I don't have to be anywhere until 10:15 AM this morning but I am still doing my 6 AM training - because I am a warrior!
