62 Days To Go - EXHAUSTED!

Today, I am soo soo tired.   I got up at 4:30 and couldn''t even coordinate the coffee pot.  So I decided not to go to the gym.  I don't feel bad about it at all.  I haven't taken a day off in over a week.

I had my doctor's appointment yesteday and as expected she told me I needed to lose weight.  Yes, thank you.  Also, my blood pressure was higher than I expected it to be.  Boo.  But what am I supposed to do?  I'm already in the midst of all the life style changes that I'm supposed to be making, so she was happy enough with that (for now).

So, I'm pretty frustrated with my weight at the moment.  When I hit the 25 day mark, my focus changed from weight loss to training for the triathlon.  My workouts got alot more intense (and more fun) but with that my calorie count has gone up a little.  So my weight loss has stagnated - I might actually be up a pound.  But I really think I'm building muscle right now.  So, I'm going to try to just stay focused on the training and see what the measurements look like at day 50.

I really wanted the scale to just keep stepping down at a steady pace.

Interesting enough, I talked to my mother who lives across the country last night.  She hasn't seen me at all during this journey.  She mentioned last night that I sound alot more energetic and happy these days.  See - mental health benefits.

The thought of packing lunch seems overwhelming today.  I just want to crawl back into bed for the rest of the week.
