So, for the longest time my weight loss routine has been unorganized and sporadic. I'll go to the gym every morning, do my run, maybe stretch a little, rarely ever do weight lifting and then go back take my shower and eat breakfast before being in class all day. My diet hasn't always been the greatest, mostly due to my fast food job at taco bell as well as the fact that I live on a college campus. Somedays I feel as if it is their desire for us to gain weight rather than eat healthy! However, after spending four months in Spain with the best host family ever, I realized that what my weight loss was really missing was a diet plan. Between walking nearly 8 miles a day or more sometimes and eating the healthiest i have ever eaten in my life, i lost at least 5 or 6 pounds abroad over four months (yes, the gelato and chocolate cake were way too tempting, as were the crepes). Sadly, within two weeks of being back in America I had gained all that weight back plus some extra that wasn't there before I left. Now, I'm getting married in six months and need to get myself back on track. It's my senior year of college so it has been crazy busy but it's about time i got my life and diet set straight and make a habit of it! So, any good suggestions for those who are lactose intolerant as i don't believe any of the diet plans i could access were lactose free!
