I'm so encouraged! I had my first weigh in this morning and I'm down 2.6 pounds!! Totally on my way to my first goal! This week hasn't been real tough on me. The hardest part is making time to work out. My job has had me on a crazy schedule this week so it's been tough. I read a post last night though that got me to thinking. My friend is making an effort to move at least 10 minutes a day. She said some days she does an hour, some days 10 minutes, other days 15. Duh! I can do that!! I don't necessarily need to take an hour every day to workout. Little steps Suzey!! So my goal this week is to move at least 10 minutes every day. I'll have this weight off in no time!
Also, I'm cutting down on soda. I used to drink soda like tomorrow wasn't coming. I have cut down to three 16 oz. glasses a day. I've drank all three glasses twice this week. A couple of the days I've had two and the rest I've only had one. I've only had one caffine headache this week and I haven't been in a crazy mood at all. I actually sleep better at night too. When I go to bed, I'm tired and not wired forcing myelf to sleep. And funnily enough I like drinking the water.
The food part I haven't really given up anything. I'ts been more about watching my portion sizes and calorie intake. I have 3 meals a day and 2 snacks.
I'm encouraged!! I'm ready to be better...finally for once, I'm doing it for me!
