Hi everybody,

Just to let you know a little about me, my name is Brea and I'm 18 years old. At such a young age most people consider it a bit narrow minded of me to consider myself a health guru but that's exactly what I am. I've struggled wit my weight from a young age and I the world we live in today, kids like me a forced to deal with insecurities formed by these ideals set before us all the time on TV, the Internet, and at school.

Recently I've come to realize that the changes I've made in my life in the past couple years are something that I can't just keep to myself. I've gone and learned all about the human body and how to care for it properly, and now I'm here to help share my knowledge with all of you so we can all get to where we want to be.

The most important lesson I think I've learned is that this stereotype that we as Americans have created in our minds of skinny being equivalent of beautiful is completely false. We see these gorgous models in magazines and actors and actresses on TV and think "Wow, I wish I could look like them!" These geneticall gifted people are beautiful, but thats not becasue they fit in a size 00. Its because they just happened to win the genetic lottery. Being skinny doesn't mean you're automaticaly more attractive.

Chances are, if you're on this site then you probably already realize that, but for those of you who haven't figured it out then that's the baltant truth right there in black-and-white.

I'm here to share my views and let my mistakes and successes help influence you're decisions. I would love feedback on what you think and would appreciate your opinions and your results from my suggestions.

Thank you for your time!
