Ok, folks.  I'm not sure who all is in this with me, but I'm sure if you're old enough to work here, then this probably isn't your first weight-loss rodeo.  And it certainly isn't mine either.

I lost a whole lot of weight about 7 years ago.  And then for the longest time I pretty much kept it off.  Then about 3 or 4 years ago, I started running and I lost even more.  I was even able to run the Rock N Roll 1/2 Marathon in New Orleans 3 years ago.  At that point, I was the smallest I'd been since high school, and in probably the best shape of my life.

Then in July of 2010, our lives changed.  Jackson was born.  Suddenly, all my time revolved around him, and I wanted it to be that way.   But I pretty much stopped running or doing any other form of exercise, and we found it easier to eat just whatever was quickest and easiest, that often being something from a drive-thru.

And so, here I am 50 pounds heavier, and I am absolutely sick of these extra pounds.  My clothes don't fit, and it's much harder to exercise.  So something has got to change.

I'm glad we're all doing this together, and I welcome your suggestions and support.  And feel free to kick my tail if you see me straying back down the wrong roads.  I'll make sure to do the same for you.

That's about it....  gotta get some work done.  Let me hear from y'all!
