THAT BELLY FAT GOTS TA GO!

I HATE MY BELLY. IT STICKS OUT AND I CAN PINCH LIKE 2-3 INCHES. Gah.

I WAS ON FITCLICK 2 YEARS AGO AND DID WELL ON THE 40/30/30 CARB REDUCER PROGRAM. I got annoyed by all the tracking minutiae and bailed.

Now I am back, having gained a bunch of weight without the accountability and despite those "EAT ONLY NATURAL ITEMS BUT EAT AS MUCH AS YOU CAN STUFF" programs. Too good to be true. Sold by skinny, young high metabolizers.

So the urban legend to eat clean and eat all you can are just that: legends.

I have been back 3 days and my caloric intake is hair raisingly enormous.

I just seem to eat and eat, and then drink and then eat sweet snacks.

My meal accompaniments are like 500 calories! How did this happen?

And trying to cut my body out of its nummies is causing anger and revolt.

Like: "I'M EATING THIS AND FRACK THE CALORIES!!!!!"

First day here, I stayed within proscribed caloric limits of 1450, but the next 2 days I went bananas and ate close to 2000 cals each day.  I just had this hunger and could not stop eating!!! I ate all day and all evening. Woke up and still was full.

The 3rd day was saved by me doing a workout or I would have been topping 1800 cals. Today? Off to a hefty start alread: over 500 cals at breakfast, 900 by 2 PM.

Trying to get enough protein per the program, which I managed, but at the expense of massive caloric overages.

Apparently I need to love on protein powder, non fat turkey slices and egg whites none of which is all that tasty to me. I like fresh fruit, yogurt, salads, salmon, chocolate, Blue Moon Ale and goat cheese, I thought that was good? Its making my calorie counter explode. This bugs me to no end.

I look down at my belly and get mad.

So this is what I'm thinking: Let me see how the adding of "sufficient" protein plays out, maybe there's a secret I'm missing. If my aging body decides its all the same to it -- just more calories to fabricate fat aprons -- I will have to address the calories further. Too many changes at once are not good.

STEP 1: ADD PROTEIN

STEP 2: TRIM THE DAILY CALORIES

STEP 3: EASY OFF THE BREAD PEDAL (I like sammies).

I am spending hours tracking food and am as malformed mid-section wise as ever. The scale that said yesterday I was 2 1/2 lbs lighter? LIES,LIES AND NO VIDEOTAPE! I go right back up after a day of eating!

I have this ex for a pseudo friend now who is into fitness and nutrition.  He spouts self satisfied proclamations that don't serve me. I think if you work out like a friggin' rabbit every day for hours your food does not stick like it does on me.

I am not a rabbit.

I am not massively overweight, but I might as well be as I JUST NEVER SEEM TO BE ABLE TO LOSE THESE 15 TO 20 LBS that are "sticking to my ribs and loins.

I am venting, I know. I do not address this in my off line life, but I must tell you, I want to see that friggin scale move.

I am open to input from y'all.  Step up and talk to me.
