Hello everyone! So pretty much this is what's up. I used to be VERY fit...after having my kids I was in the gym all the time...I was an inspiration to everyone around me! All my mom friends would come to ME for advice on how to lose weight etc! Imagine that! The one who was obssessed with candy, junk food, and god knows what else...was the one who was now healthy and handing out advice!! And then things went DOWNHILL. Divorce, custody battle, remarrying ( aww), but then having 2 miscarriages :'(  I'm pretty sure blogging and connecting with other individuals who need to lose weight will help me get back to where I need to be! So that's why I'm here. So here's a little backstory on why I now ( at 23 years old ) need to lose 40 pounds or more. I was born with a condition called psuedo tumor cerebri. The more weight I gain, the more likely I am to lose my vision :( I have all the symptoms of a patient with brain tumors...but there's nothing there...There's too much fluid in my spine and I need routine spinal taps. So that sucks...I have 2 beautiful children and a wonderful husband and I have to worry about losing my vision and being on my back because of  spinal taps and  then having to go get them patched because the spinal fluid leaks ( OUCH ) etc. As if that wasn't enough....August 4th of this year...I got rear ended. I was sitting in the back and a woman on her phone not paying attention hit the car going 40-50 mph! I have herniated discks in my back and possibly a nerve condition because of it!!!! After going to the ER and learning I now not only am going to have to have spinal taps forever, but steroid injections in my epidural for life as well!! Again, I was told...the bigger I am...the more problems I will have...I have been told by 3 or 4 different dotors now I not only need to lose weight but get my core as strong as possible to even be able to hold myself up and not be in pain every day, and so  I will be able to have children again and all that jazz...So  I need to make a lifestyle change...It HAS to be life long because of my medical conditions. I need motivation from other people who need it too! It really is key! If you read this you now know probably too  much about me but hey! It's nice to meet you!
