So those who have seen older posts on my blog will know that I prefer short term goals that get me closer to my long term goals. Monthly goals work well for me, as does sharing them with others who can hold me accountable ;-). I also like to have goals that aren't focussed only on weight loss.
With this in mind, here are my December goals:

Lose 10 lbs, which given my weight on December 1st, would bring me to 216 lbs

Use my Wii Fit at least 3 times per week, for an hour each time

Have vegetarian meals for lunch or dinner at least 4 times each week

Have a balanced breakfast at least 4 times each week; this would include whole grains, lean protein and colourful fruit or veg (and not blow the bank in calories)
I am excited to have these goals in place. I know they aren't the most difficult to achieve, but they will keep me motivated and on the right path.
I'm mildly concerned about the weight loss goal given that Christmas is just around the corner. Being French-Canadian, we go all out with the food at this time of year. I need to put in a lot of effort right away with losing some weight, and not wait for a Christmas miracle on that particular goal.
