Getting a Shopping List Together

The thing that I noticed with the meal planner on FitClick is that it will want you to have Shredded Wheat cereal on monday and then you won't see Shredded Wheat come up again that whole week. It will want you to eat strawberries as a snack on Wednesday but you can only have 1/2 a cup and you won't see them again for another week.  I can't afford to do all the different menus every day.

So, what I have done is edit each day's meals. I went in and added the Shredded Wheat breakfast with its accoutrements for 3 days that week. I'll get tired of it, but it'll be gone and I won't waste money. I also didn't just have the turkey sandwich on expensive 7-grain bread one time that week either. I added it to two days that week and used the 7-grain bread in other meals. This may actually help keep me on track and stop me from being frustrated.

My dinners are going to stay as they are right now, hit or miss, fly by the seat of my pants, until I get the hand of the rest of the day. I'm going to do this slowly enough that maybe it will actually be a change in lifestyle.
