Additionally, Watson opines that it allows trainees to exercise from home with proper guides from DVDs rather than having to undergo strict gym schedules or outdoor training, unlike in Bootcamp training.

The demerits of Insanity include helping attain general body fitness rather than focusing on particular areas of growth. According to Watson, this program is not designed for amateur trainees due to high-intensity level compared to the other programs. Moreover, the program focuses on the cardio development and lays little emphasis on the upper body, thus, causing the legs to be under constant strain. Such exertion becomes the reason of fatigue.
