A logo is primarily needed to distinguish a company, product, or service from numerous competitors. A logo or trademark distinguishes you from others: for each symbol, consumers form a stable idea of a certain level of quality, and without a logo, it isn't easy to create a positive image, which is easily extended to all subsequent products of your company.

Logo - (from the Greek. λ?γος - word + τ?πος - imprint) - is a graphic sign, symbol, or emblem used by commercial and government organizations, as well as individuals, to increase recognition and recognition in the society. Therefore, the logo is the main element of identification of your brand and the corporate identity of your company.

We all understand that in today's rapidly changing world, more is needed to enter the market with a good offer and a significant list of benefits the client will receive from cooperation with you. It is also important to establish psycho-emotional contact with your target audience. And this is where the memorable, unique symbol or emblem makes it easy to recognize you, creates elements of corporate identity, and completes the image of your company through eye contact will come in handy.

To develop the right logo, which will become the basis of a successful marketing strategy, it is necessary to distinguish between the main types of visual elements of logo design:

  1. Logos - words - are the words-names of companies, made in a stylized font, like "Coca-Cola," for example.
  2. Logos - symbols are simple shapes of well-known objects or objects, such as the logo of the company "Apple" made in the form of a bitten apple.
  3. Logos - emblems are complex logos containing the company's word name, limited by a special vector form of the artistic type. An example is the logo of the company "Starbucks."
  4. Combinations of elements are logos that combine the company name, several aspects of corporate identity, and images. As an example, the emblem of the trading platform
  5. Combinations of numbers and letters. Such logos are created on the background of the perception of initials. The Hewlett-Packard logo, for example, is as simple as possible but very pleasant for perception.

The development of logo design today is guided by two main criteria: simplicity and minimalism, which are the key to easy recognition of your brand.

The logo performs two main, but at first glance very similar, functions:

  • identification;
  • authentication.

Identification means a close connection between the brand and the logo representing it, which categorically associates one with the other: people see your logo. They subconsciously understand what kind of brand, company, or trademark it is.

Authentication/verification of authenticity means that people see your logo and clearly understand it is exactly the brand they thought about. It's just like a person's signature - the signature is identification, and a passport with a sample signature is proof of authenticity (authentication).

Summarizing the above, we can confidently say that the logo is needed in the following cases:

  1. In the design of products (directly on the goods, labels, packaging bags, boxes), as a kind of autograph confirmation that it was you who made this product or provided this service;
  2. In the office, complete the company's corporate style (on the company seal, business cards, employee badges, notebooks, envelopes, letterheads, pens, etc.
  3. In advertising goods or services (on billboards, signs, billboards, city lights, and various handouts: booklets, calendars, packages).
  4. On the Internet (on the company's website, on advertising banners, in avatars for social networks, for signing emails, for Youtube and other platforms for posting video files, for watermarking, for copyright protection).

So, if you want to be unique, famous, and recognizable, if you want your reputation to speak to the client before you enter into a dialogue - materialize your brand philosophy in the right way, ask a logo creator to make for you an individual, memorable and very easily recognizable logo, and then your brand will be in everyone's mind. This will significantly change the scale of your business!
