I feel healthier from exercising every night and eating healthier, but my weight on the scale is not decreasing. I'm not going to weigh myself anymore. It just frustrates me. And as long as I'm feeling good, who cares about a number?

So whenever I've tried to get in shape before, I do really well all through the week, and then Friday night-Sunday, I just pig out. Part of my New Years Resolution is to not do that. This will be tough tomorrow night as I am having a "Girl's Night" with my friends, and we are supposed to bring snacks. I am SO SICK of vegetables. I have been eating them all week. So I'm settling on Crispy Minis...the little rice cake things with seasoning. I assume they're healthier than chips or chocolate....

My boss came to work this morning with a big plate of cookies and chocolates for our staff meeting. I politely declined, and I guess this is out of the ordinary because my boss was like, "Why!? Have some!!" And I said I was watching my diet. And all of a sudden, it was like the staff turned into a bunch of nutrition experts. My boss said, "Are you eating carbs? You really shouldn't eat any carbs if you're losing weight."

So between yesterday and today, I am down four pounds. Hooray!
I'm worried about going back to work tomorrow. The holidays are awesome because I can wake up at a comfortable time, make a nice hot breakfast, do a 2 hour workout, and take a shower, etc. But unless I start waking up at some ungodly hour, I'm gonna have to go back to working out at night again.
That's hard to do! After 8 hours of work, an hour-long commute home, and making a healthy supper, it's 8pm by the time I'm ready to ...

Today I weigh 177 pounds. It's not the most I've ever weighed, but it's up there, and it's bugging me. I've decided that keeping a blog will help me lose the weight, so here I am.
