Art Isn't Easy

I'm doing alright. I've been following the diet. Yesterday I was doing great, then I bent a bit to have some fro yo with my best friend. She's going to be my downfall. We both agree that we need to lose weight, but I'm the one doing the diet right now. I'm hoping to get her in on it. She says that she's going to start when she goes to school, but I want to lose weight before I go back. I have a chance to get the groceries I want while I'm here. Why start in 3 weeks when I can start now? Sure...

Tomorrow is the day when I start everything. This is a new year and if I don't change my habits, I know that I'm going to regret it. I'm eighteen. I stand at 5'6". I weigh 207 lbs, as of today. I'm a music education major, and I'll be teaching in a few years. I don't want my students to refer to me as "the fat one." I also do a lot of theatre, and I know for a fact that my weight is holding me back from roles I could play so well. I've gotten numerous callbacks and when the list goes up, ...
