Today was a very good day. Well, until dinner. Though even that wasn't too bad.
This morning I woke up at 7 am (after going to bed at 1 am). I could've slept in like usual (I get up with the kids on Sat and hubby gets up with them on Sun) but I had planned to go to the gym this morning. There was an 8:30 am yoga class I wanted to take.

Today I went to the gym and was on the elliptical for 15 min. It may not sound like much but for me that's a lot! So far my calories are around 800. So far so good. Lunch is a few less calories than breakfast was and dinner will be.
Saturdays are my cheat day. Mostly because every Saturday we have a bunch of friends come over to game. It's easier to get pizza than to cook for 10+ people. So I'll allow myself some pizza and soda tonight. But for the rest of the day I'm going to eat h...

I woke up at 6 am this morning. I am so ready for the gym. Unfortunately I have to wait. Not only are the kids still sleeping but the gym's daycare doesn't open till 8 am.
I didn't get to register yesterday for the contest so I'm going to do it today. Then I plan on doing HIIT cardio. I'm following the Body For Life program. It's free and customizable. Like any workout program, it's intense. I think I can do it though.

Tomorrow is a new dawn and a new day for me. I've been wanting to lose this weight for a long time. I keep on giving up just when I start seeing results. It's because of that that it took 4 years to get down 45 lbs. I've since gained 5 lbs.
Today I weighed in at 180.6 lbs. Considering I used to be 220 lbs this isn't necessarily a horrible thing. However, I should be at my goal by now. If only I would keep up with it.

I've been wanting to get back into exercising and eating properly. Then I received an e-mail from my gym that they're having a weight loss contest. The contest starts Feb 1 and lasts 12 weeks. The person who loses the most wins $ 10,000!
I think this is just the motivation I need. Yes, losing for myself should be, and is, my top priority. But with a contest hanging over my head maybe I'll stick with it. I mean ten grand is a lot of money!

I had been going through some stuff. As a result I had stopped working out. Shortly after that I stopped paying attention to my diet.
Yesterday I weighed myself and I was 176. That's a good thing, it means I didn't gain any weight while OOC.
So today I'm working out again. I'm going to start by running 3 days a week and taking a spin class the other 3 days. MAYBE yoga on Sundays if I'm up for it. We'll see.
Time to get back in the saddle!

I took a week off from working out and watching what I ate. Mostly it was because I was sick. Ugh! I still have a cough that just won't go away but am mostly better now.
I went back to working out and watching what I ate today. It feels good to be back in the groove of things.
I took my first spin class today. It was nuts! The instructor said it was a harder class than usual. So I don't feel bad about having trouble keeping up in the end.

I just completed my p90x workout a few min ago. Now I'm having a protein smoothie and am going to hit the shower in a minute.
I feel so good right now! I am so glad that I did it. Tomorrow is going to be hell though. I have plyometrics to do and those are killer. But I'm going to do my absolute best to keep up with it. :D
If I keep this up I'll lose the weight in no time!

OK...so I've decided to try P90X again. I really liked it last time. But I never stuck with it. I have this little problem of giving up after I start seeing results. I don't know why that is, but it's super annoying.
This time I'm going to stick with it. I'm vowing to work out even if I can't do it first thing in the morning. Doing it later, like say noon, is totally anoption and I have to keep reminding myself of that.
I have 39 lbs to lose. I KNOW I can do that without any problem...

I just weighed myself and I'm at 178.8 lbs! My high weight was 220 lbs. I've been stuck in the 180s for 2 years though. Mostly because whenever I get close to the 170s I sabotage myself and find myself eating junk and not working out. Not this time though!
Right now I'm keeping my calories around 1700 and working out 3-5 days a week (weights and cardio). Yesterday my husband and I were talking about doing p90x again, except this time following their diet.
