so, the good news: I've steadily been losing weight! I even made it through the speedbumps of easter and mother's day, which are huge feast-offs in my family. some people swear by it, but I've never been able to keep a food journal for longer than, like, 3 days.

then I came across this quote recently: "your body keeps an accurate journal, regardless of what you write down."

no going back

I've been more lax with making good health decisions every day, so naturally some weight has krept back on. it's only five pounds, but when I think of all the hard work I went through to lose those five pounds, I feel encouraged to lose them again.
