Hello fellow lifestyle changers(I refuse to call it a diet)! Although I am new to the site, I somehow feel close to all of you; It may be the fact that we share the common goal in our desire to  live healthier lifestyle.  I am 2 days into this site and I am enjoying it.  Im sure you all (like myself) have found that having to write down everything you eat, makes you want to stay on the right track.  When we see what we consume in black and white, it is like a wake up call. 

Today my bf  (of 3 1/2 yrs)and I decided to go our separate ways.  We both Love each other very much but circumstance do not permit us being together right now.  

What I have learfned

With my current emotional status, I wanted to find the nearest bag of potatoe chips and the nearest candy bar and drown my sorrows in them.  I realized that I am and emotional eater.


Now that I am aware of this problem, I must recognize the desire to emotionally eat when it arises.  I must be prepared. Instead of grabbing  junk food, I will reach for the fruit basket, or fruit juice popsicles.
