Love this new lifestyle

I like to call "my diet" my new lifestyle. I am a 5 foot 8 inch, 45 year old woman, on May 19, 2009 I weighed 248 lbs - today I weigh 174 lbs!
That is a weight loss of 74 lbs in a little over a year. I did very little exercise for the first 6 months, then in January of 2010 I felt so much better that I joined a gym - which I love!
My "lifesyle has four important rules.
1.) Watch your calories, track your calories consumed and your calories burned. I don't try to lose weight over-night, it is a process that requires consideration, planning and lifestyle.
2: Eat more Protein than Carbs and always keep in mind the fat content.
3.) Moderate exercise and strength training 3-4 times per week for 40-60 minutes.
4.) It is OK to have a special meal once in a while, it is OK to have a bad day, I just don't allow it to change my lifestyle.
I still want to lose 12 more pounds. It is going slower than expected at this time becasue I am building muscle at the same time with strengths training and exercise. I have never felt better in my life & I will get there.
I will never be fat again!
