Day 2

So I have had a really bad respatory virus and stomach bug for 2 weeks now, which needless to say has given me little to no appetite, and when I have tried to eat, buttered toast was all my stomach could handle. But after entering in my food on the first day, I couldnt believe how eaten so little could still bring me over in calories and fat! I have always known butter is bad, I guess I play games in my head that if it feels like Im only eating a little then I must be doing ok. I guess thats why I have never lost weight when I was sick even though I always felt like I should have. So yesterday I tried really hard to make better choices, even though my stomach hated me for it. I swapped white toast and butter for a toasted nutrigrain waffle and a banana. I think it was progress to be stuck inside all day because of snow and virus and tell myself no all day to cravings. Trying to be kind to myself and not so hard, even though I slipped up at the end of the night and ate some pringles, I think once I am 100% past this virus I will be able to eat more protein and do better. Some homemade vegtable soup with beans would be a good way to get some protein and veggies in at same time, think Ill look up a recipe for that today. Well here's to Day 2!
