About me: My weight was 250.5 lbs on Dec 6, 2009, and I decided that a BMI of over 33 was too high. My initial goal was to get to a weight of 200 lbs, but when I found the journey to be relatively painless, I updated that to 190 lbs. As it continued to work well, I updated my goal again to get under a BMI of 25, and set myself a goal of 185 lbs (about 24.7 BMI). I achieved my "final" goal on Aug 14, 2010, just one day before my 44th birthday. I've been up over 195 since then, but I'm back down under 185, and I've been floating between 165 and 170 lbs, which will help improve my running speed. I have done almost 2 rounds of the P90X program, and I've been running since July 2010, completing two 5 mile kilt runs, four 10K's, three half marathons, the Around the Bay 30K in Hamilton and the National Capital Marathon, each twice so far.
