I just can't seem to get to the point where I stick to an eating plan with out fail. For a while I kept on track and then summer hits, parties happen, family picnics, etc. I have not been happy about my weight, having to go up a pant size (really two) and my general feeling of blah and bloating. I discovered that I really enjoy microbrews and good wine. So needless to say when I stepped on the scale this past weekend at my brother-in-law's house and it hit 158 I thought I was going to cry. The n...

I used to get up and go to the gym every day. Then I quit going because of financial reasons. I have DVD's and some free weights at home all I need to do is get my butt out of bed in the am. Would somebody please kick me. I am managing to work out a few times per week but I really need to do more. Again would somebody please kick me.

Apparently they are foreign words to me. I keep going between doing great and crashing. This week I had three glasses of wine one night that is 600 calories. Crap. First when I was putting in my food in the tracker I thought here we go, I had frozen pizza this ought to be way over my calories, but it wasn't. Not everything lined up great but it was ok. Then I added in the alcohol and look out. Yesterday I ate half a can of salted almonds and clam chowder for lunch. I think I am pms'ing thats wh...

So far today has been great. Got up checked my meal plan for the day, got ready for work, made some hard boiled eggs for lunch and my smoothie for breakfast and walked to work. Mid morning seems to be my hardest time, I really get hungry around 10am. Just when my co-worker is busting out the Triscuits but I have managed to stay away, even though I love them. Lunch seemed light but after eating it I feel full, I just know it isn't going to last. Thank God for afternoon snack. Running after work a...

Well I spent a great weekend, after my week last week I needed it. Thursday I had stitches out where I had a lump removed from my breast, thankfully it turned out to be benign. Thank You GOD. So Thursday night had too much wine in personal celebration. Friday diet was back to normal, then Saturday came. I got a lot of yard work done (good exercise), but we had a friend over and I had a lot of chips. They were low fat, but who cares I ate a lot of them and had a burger. So dieting wasn't a high p...

I tried to work out yesterday, made it through about 20 minutes of an Insanity Plyo Cardio workout but the stitches in my breast were irritated by the jumping. I did do my weights though and I am sore today, yippee! I get the stitches out on Thursday, I will be glad to be done with this. Hopefully it was nothing and I can just move on with life. I weighed my self this morning and was 146. I swear I could eat 500 calories a day and not lose weight. To look at me I don't think I look that heavy...
